Editorial policy

Our standards for sourcing, verification, authorship and independence.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions at Xonique are made by our editorial team. Commercial relationships do not influence which stories we cover or the conclusions we reach.

Commercial content is produced through a separate process, is always labelled, and never appears as independent editorial.

Sourcing and verification

  • We prefer primary sources: filings, product documentation, named practitioners and first-hand data.
  • Figures are attributed to their source and dated.
  • Where a claim cannot be verified, we say so rather than implying certainty.
  • Anonymity is granted only where there is a clear risk to the source, and the reason is explained to readers.

Authorship and expertise

Every article carries a named author with a biography and areas of coverage. Contributed articles are labelled and reviewed editorially before publication.

AI use

We may use AI tools for research support, transcription and editing assistance. A human editor is responsible for every published article, including its accuracy.

Updates and corrections

Substantive changes after publication are marked with an updated date. Factual errors are corrected under our corrections policy.

Conflicts of interest

Writers must disclose relevant financial or advisory relationships. Where a conflict cannot be managed, the story is reassigned.
